"Paul Grundy's presentation on 'outpatient awake biopsy/craniotomy' nicely outlines what is possible presently in our
financially-constrained medical situation. Might I add that NOT shaving or clipping the hair before cranial procedures
can be a part of efficient surgery. I have not clipped or shaved for a decade now, and not only see infections extremely
rarely - but also virtually no drainage from the incision (usually linear if possible) so that a dressing is superfluous."
